Hospice d'Havré

Tourcoing's Maison Folie Hospice d'Havré is one of the town's must-see monuments. Housed in the Notre-Dame-des-Anges monastery, it was first a hospice, then a convent and a college. Although it is still known as a hospice today, it is first and foremost a place of cultural exchange, hosting exhibitions, shows, concerts and guided tours. With exhibitions by national and international artists, Maison Folie promotes plurality and diversity in its offerings.

The chapel, cloister galleries and refectory are listed in the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques as proof of the building's importance to the town.

botany

Created in 1917 on Emile Leplat's land, the Tourcoing botanical garden is now home to a wide variety of plants. A horticultural museum, a formal garden, an English garden and 1,200m2 of educational greenhouses bring this magnificent botanical garden to life, providing a veritable sanctuary for all these plants.
